My encounter with sound healing happened purely by chance. I attended a group sound healing session led by Shanto, and it was unlike anything I had ever experienced. During the session, I was keenly aware of various sensations in my body, and afterward, I felt incredibly light, as light as a feather. That feeling lasted well beyond the session.
As a psychologist, I often find myself stuck in the realm of talk therapy because I know the techniques and theories. Applying them to my own life can be challenging, at times. However, my first sound healing session brought me an immediate sense of calm. I noticed an almost instant change in my reactions to the world around me.
That was a year ago. Today, I regularly attend sound healing sessions. They have become more than just a relaxation tool; with each session, I feel something shift within me. I'm also grateful to Shanto for the invaluable wisdom he shares during the counselling part of the sessions. I am eternally thankful that the universe crossed our paths.
